How Your Account Is Settled

Abbey Hospitals’ treatments are available to patients with Private Medical Insurance as well as individuals who wish to settle their own account under our Fixed Price Surgery Scheme. We have agreements in place with most insurance companies for in-patient and out-patient accounts to be settled directly by your insurer, although you may be liable for items not covered by your policy. Insured

Abbey Hospitals has agreements with most insurance companies for in-patient accounts to be settled directly. Outpatient accounts may also be sent to your insurer for direct payment. You must contact your insurance company before admission to check you are adequately covered for the treatment that your consultant has prescribed.

Fixed Priced Surgery

Abbey Hospitals operates a Fixed Price Surgery scheme where costs are guaranteed for specific surgical procedures. The fixed price covers all hospital, consultant, theatre and anaesthetist fees, nursing care, drugs and pathology, diagnostic and therapeutic services such as X-ray and physiotherapy as well as accommodation and meals.
